English 7A-7B / Write a story or personal anecdote

 Hello Dear children & families!

Estamos terminando la Unidad 1 referida a Simple Past & Extreme Sports y como cierre de lo que aprendimos los/las invito a escribir una anécdota personal o algún evento que quieran contar.

Deberán escribirlo a mano (no Microsoft Word) y enviarlo a mi correo electrónico: alejandragamundi@gmail.com

Recuerden escribir nombre y apellido y grado.

Luego de que corrija los writings se los voy a enviar nuevamente con mi corrección para que preparando ustedes una "clean copy" los subamos al blog.

Ultimo plazo de entrega: jueves 06/05 inclusive.

Tips for writing a good story or anecdote.

• Take time to think about the story before you start writing. 

• Use past simple tense.

• Use adjectives and adverbs to make the story interesting.

• Use sequencing words: first of all, then, after that, later on, finally, in the end ...

• Give your story an introduction. Say briefly what your story is about.

• Give the background to your story. 

        Say when and where it took place and what you were doing at that time.

• Say what happened step by step. Use words like so, because and however to connect 

        the actions until you reach the end of the story.

• Finish your story or anecdote by saying why it is important to you or 

        why you remember it.

Examples:

• Write about a holiday you had.

• Write about a difficult journey or day you had.

• Write about a perfect day you've had.

• Write about a special event in your life.

• Write about a birthday you remember.
